THE PLAN:

Friday 6th Nov (7:30pm) - Welcome drinks - TBC

Saturday 7th of Nov (11am - 5pm) - Day One of Camp

Sunday 8th of Nov (11am - 5pm) - Day Two of Camp

Welcome drinks are optional on the Friday evening and then Camp starts at 11am on the Saturday.
You will have two days of playing, learning, performing and exploring various drumming concepts.

Areas covered will include but not be limited to: looking at famous song parts, famous fills and the elements that can open up your playing.

WHAT’S NOT INCLUDED?

Accommodation (please organise a hotel if you are not local to Edinburgh)

Food* - some snacks will be provided but please bring a packed lunch.

*Apparently there are lots of shops close by if you want to go out and buy some food :)

Drummers that are past the beginners stage and have a good grasp of the following:

8th note rock beat
Reading drum notation
Timing
Fills
Familiar with rudiments

This is also for you if you are feeling stuck with your playing.

If you are seeking inspiration and wanting to learn in a safe, positive and encouraging space.

WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?

A practice pad and stand for it to rest in*, a packed lunch and some ear plugs :)

*If you don't have a practice pad please let me know

TRAVEL:

Colorsound studios is near to Haymarket train station in Edinburgh.

I believe there is parking but its quite limited.
